AWA is an Australian company also known as Amalgamated Wireless Australasia. In the past they have been manufacturers of radio, telecommunications and audio products. In recent times they have move into flat panel HDTV production. The products they have are generally aimed at the budget section of the market but there is no loss of quality and function as what they are required to do.The company also focuses on information and communication technology services,the restoration and deployment of technology in particular. It has seven offices and numerous representative agents around Australia and Pacific regions.

It also licences it's brand name to Woolworths also known as Safeway for you Victorians who use it for generic consumer electronics sold at it's outlets, mainly Big W. The TV's they offer have panels made in korea, so it is equivalent to the LG's and Samsung products.
